Our Fifth Grade Digital Citizenship Home Program was created to provide parents support in learning how to navigate their child’s digital footprints online. In the Fifth Grade Digital Citizenship Home Program fifth graders will learn how to become more responsible digital citizens, make good choices online, use appropriate online etiquette and show kindness online and offline. They will also explore the dangers of posting online when under emotional stress, understand the negative impact of oversharing, and learn more ways to protect their privacy and digital reputation.
The core kit includes a Family Resource Guide that takes the parent and child step by step through all five of the online video lessons, providing suggested keywords, objectives, activities and points of discussion. The Family Resource Guide is meant to work in conjunction with the Fifth Grade Activity Kit designed to involve and motivate fifth graders through various activity sheets and materials.
