Our Seventh Grade Digital Citizenship Home Program was created to provide students, educators and parents support in learning how to navigate their digital footprints online. In the Seventh Grade Digital Citizenship Home Program, seventh graders will gain more skills and a better understanding of how to manage their digital footprint and digital reputation. Starting with a story about a young man posting inappropriate content that prevented him from getting into the college of his choice, middle school students will understand that they are never too young to work on having a positive digital footprint. The impact of cyberbullying will be discussed in more detail, including the legal implications associated with cyberbullying.
The core kit includes a Family Resource Guide that takes the parent and child step by step through all five of the online video lessons, providing suggested keywords, objectives, activities and points of discussion. The Family Resource Guide is meant to work in conjunction with the Seventh Grade Activity Kit designed to involve and motivate seventh graders through various activity sheets and materials.
