Our Mission

Digital Citizen Academy (DCA) is a research-driven, solutions-focused program founded by psychologist Dr. Lisa Strohman. Our mission is to equip students, families, and educators with the tools and insights needed to navigate the digital world safely and responsibly.

Implementing DCA

Below are practical steps and curated resources to help your district implement (DCA) practices easily and effectively, offering a clear roadmap to foster strong digital citizenship across your school community.

STEP 1:
Meet Your DCA Support Team

Once enrolled, a dedicated DCA Success Specialist will be assigned to support you with:

  • Navigating the curriculum
  • Planning and pacing lessons
  • Onboarding and training staff

Access the DCA Curriculum Portal

Plan Your Rollout

Decide how DCA best fits into your school’s schedule—whether through weekly lessons, advisory periods, or wellness classes. Our team offers tailored rollout support to align with your specific structure.

Train Your Staff

Training includes:
